Biography

Carla Alvarado, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in orthopedic care, with a focus on diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the bones, joints, and muscles. Born and raised in Puerto Rico in a medical family, she developed an early passion for healthcare. She earned her undergraduate degree from Walla Walla University in the state of Washington and went on to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Kettering College in Ohio.

As part of the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics team, Carla works closely with orthopedic specialists to provide comprehensive patient care, including evaluations, non-surgical treatments, procedural assistance, and recovery guidance. She is dedicated to helping patients in her community better understand their health, feel at ease in the clinical setting, and regain the strength and confidence needed to return to the lifestyle they enjoyed before injury or illness. Fluent in Spanish, she is especially committed to ensuring clear communication and compassionate, personalized care for every patient.
